"Stuck with the wrong order"
My order showed up with the wrong stuff, and one of the things I actually paid for wasn’t even in the box. I ended up digging through the receipt because I thought I was missing something, but nope, it just didn’t add up. It was really frustrating because I felt stuck dealing with a mess I didn’t create, and it definitely wasn’t what I paid for.

"Kind of hit or miss"
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this ended up being a bit hit or miss for me. Some parts were fine, but the descriptions felt vague and not totally accurate, so I was a little disappointed when it didn’t match what I had in mind

"Stock info was off"
I ordered a Hallmark item that said it was in stock, then maybe an hour or two later I got an email saying it actually wasn’t available. Kind of frustrating because I probably could’ve grabbed it from another store instead. The site itself is easy to use, but they really need to keep the stock info more accurate.

"Checkout was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
As someone who shops online often, I expect checkout to be the easy part, but this one was a mess. It kept rejecting my card even though I use that same card everywhere else with no issue. I tried again, and then the shipping cost changed right at the last step. At that point I just gave up. It wasn’t worth the hassle.

"Exchange turned into a support loop"
I tried to exchange my order and it ended up being way more of a hassle than it should’ve been. I kept getting bounced around by support, repeating the same details over and over, and it felt like no one was actually moving things forward. The whole process took forever, i wouldn’t order from here again.

"My recent order was a good deal"
I just ordered from hookedonhallmark.com recently after spotting a discount code, and that latest experience left me feeling good about them. The code worked with no hassle, the prices ended up being better than I expected, and shipping was perfectly fine. I do wish they had promos more often, but based on this most recent order, I’m happy with the savings.

"Photos were decent, but couldve been better"
The photos showed the ornament well enough, but I felt like a few angles were missing. I was still able to decide, but Id have liked some closer shots and better lighting to really see the details.

I went in hoping to grab a few specific ornaments, but most of them were out of stock. it got frustrating fast, like I had to keep asking around just to find anything close to what I wanted. It made the whole experience feel more like begging for options than shopping, and I left annoyed

I noticed some of the same ornaments were cheaper at other places, so the prices here felt a little high to me. That said, they did have some nice pieces, so maybe it just depends on what you're looking for

"Really poor communication"
My experience with hookedonhallmark.com was frustrating, mainly because the communication was just bad. I emailed about my order more than once and either got no response at all or got a super short reply that didn’t really answer anything. It was communication, communication, communication, or really, the lack of it — that made the whole thing annoying.
I felt like I kept having to chase them for basic updates, and even then I still didn’t feel like I knew what was going on. I don’t mind waiting if someone keeps me informed, but having to ask again and again gets old fast. Maybe other people had a smoother experience, but for me it was frustrating enough that I wouldn’t order from them again

"Returns Could Definitely Be Easier"
I tried to return something and, wow, what a process. The policy doesn’t really feel fair to the customer, but I guess that’s just how they want to do things. It would be nice if returns were a little more straightforward and less like a test of patience

"Nice spot for small gifts"
I used hookedonhallmark.com when I was trying to find a Christmas ornament for my aunt, it was easy to browse. They have a lot of cute little gift ideas, especially for those people who are ridiculous to shop for because you never know what they actually want.
I’m giving it 4 stars because a few things felt a bit pricey, but the ornament I picked was really nice and my aunt ended up loving it. I’d probably use the site again if I needed a small gift without overthinking it.

"Tracking just sat there"
I ordered a Hallmark ornament and got the tracking email quickly, so at first I figured everything was moving along. But when I actually checked it, all it said was that the label had been created, and then it stayed that way for days.

I reached out to ask what was going on, and the reply was basically just to keep checking the tracking. Reading between the lines, it felt like they didn’t really know where the package was either, because checking the same frozen update over and over obviously wasn’t going to help.

Maybe the ornament will show up eventually, but right now I’ve paid for something and have no clear idea where it is. Based on this experience, I probably wouldn’t order from them again.

I was going to place an order, but the checkout page just didn’t feel very safe to me. On top of that, the website seemed to say one thing while the email I got said something else, which made it even more confusing. I ended up backing out before entering my card info...

"Shipping was slower than expected"
I ordered a small Hallmark item and it took almost two weeks to get here. The tracking barely updated, so I was kind of left guessing the whole time. The item itself was fine when it showed up, actually, it was in good shape, but the shipping speed was definitely disappointing.

"Packaging was disappointing"
My order showed up in this really flimsy box with barely any padding inside, and of course the corners were bent. One of the items even looked a little scuffed. It’s just frustrating because now I have to deal with checking everything over and possibly contacting customer service, which is extra effort I really didn’t want. They definitely need to do a better job packing things.

"I get that limited editions are supposed to..."
I get that limited editions are supposed to be limited, so maybe I shouldn’t be surprised, but they seem to disappear before I even get a fair chance to buy one. I’m not trying to complain just for the sake of it, it’s just frustrating when there never seems to be enough stock.

"Shipping cost was way too high"
I was about to order a small Hallmark item, but once I saw the shipping cost, I basically backed out. It was way higher than I expected for something so small.

I don’t mind paying for shipping, but it felt ridiculous when it was almost as much as the item itself. On top of that, I had to deal with repeated verification steps, which made the whole checkout process even more annoying.
By the end, it just didn’t feel worth it. Unless Hooked on Ornaments makes the shipping more reasonable and stops making checkout such a hassle, I probably won’t bother ordering again.
